Faye's Blessing

We blessed our sweet Faye at church today. We are so glad that we could have our family there to share it with us! Nana made Faye's beautiful blessing gown, GG (Great Grandma) made her beautiful sweater, and Grandma & Grandpa gave her a special doll to remember this special day!

Back to blogging again!

So, after a year hiatus, I decided to start blogging again. As I posted pictures of Faye's blessing on Facebook this evening I thought of our family that aren't on Facebook and wouldn't get to see them.

So I gave my blog a facelift, a new name and address (laundrylaughterandlullabies.blogspot.com) and updated the email recipeint list. If you could shoot me a quick email if you get this, just to make sure everything is up to date, I would appreciate it! I decided that I will try to post pictures and updates every Sunday. I hope you enjoy!

Love, Leanne

10 Months Old & Pulling Up

Carson turned 10 months old on Sunday and just recently started pulling himself up. He thinks it is so cool! He would rather just stand at the couch edge than play with toys. I catch him pulling himself up on everything!
I call this is Cabbage Patch Kid face!
He is always sucking his lips in like this,
especially lately because he is cutting his top two teeth.
Occasionally he will play with a toy when he is standing there,
or turn his head to see what his brothers are watching on TV.
This smile didn't last long!
He was fussing as soon as he realized he was "stuck" in the chair!
Pulling up on Andrew's barn this morning!

Carson Up On Hands & Knees

Carson has been getting up on his hands and knees. He is still Army crawling around, but he gets so excited to get his belly off the ground!
Look at that cute little bum!
Looks like he is doing yoga!
Happy as can be!

Dog Pile!

We went to hang out at Boppa & Nana's one day and the boys were piled up on Boppa. The pictures turned out pretty cute & I thought I'd share!
Harrison and his silly faces!
Harrison wanted everyone on,
so Daddy put Carson on top for just a moment!
Andrew's turn!
"Mommy, Harrison is squishing me!"
Andrew decided to do his own thing!
Boppa was done, so Andrew piled on Harrison.
And Harrison piled on Andrew!
What silly, goofy boys!

Carson is crawling up the stairs!

The other day Harrison and Andrew were playing upstairs. I went up to check on them and carry up a basket of laundry. When I was about to head downstairs, I found Carson heading up! He still doesn't crawl on hands & knees (just drags himself Army crawl style), so it took him a while, but he made it up four steps!
Guess we need to keep that gate closed from now on!
"Hi Mommy! I was coming to see you!"
Working so hard to pull himself up to the next step!
"One step down, only 14 more to the top!"
Working his way up!
He was so excited the first few steps,
but got pretty frustrated by step four,
when I came to his rescue and picked him up!

Meet Merlin!

Our new, little, white bunny!
He has an indoor cage like a hampster.
Carson was the first to see him, since I went to get him
after Harrison & Andrew were already in bed.
Checking him out.
The boys like to visit him every day.
The boys pet him and we let him hop around a little bit.

Drive In Movie

Ryan finally got the top off the Scout this year and to celebrate we headed to the drive-in! They were playing a triple feature: Planes, Despicable Me 2, Monsters University. The perfect night to take the kids!

We stayed through the first two movies and then took the boys home since it was 11:00! The ride home in the dark with the top off was a bit cool, but the boys put their hoods up, snuggled in blankets, and all fell asleep!

There were very few people at the drive-in because it was the homecoming football game (just some families with young kids). They said that we could park anywhere, instead of in the back where trucks & SUVs usually have to park, so we parked in the front row!

The boys had a blast playing on the playground before the movie started, watching the movies, eating popcorn, visiting the projection booth and getting a piece of the film strip!
We bundled up in jammies and hoodies.
We also brought along some polar fleece blankets
for when it got cool after the sun set.
Carson & Andrew sat in their carseat in the back seat.
Ryan, Harrison & I sat in the back with the tailgate down.
Having a great time!
Carson ended up drinking his bottle and sleeping through most of it!
Andrew got out of his carseat and joined us
during the second movie while we enjoyed popcorn & soda!

Always having fun!

We are always up to something! Trips to a museum or park, learning activities, art projects, playing pretend, dancing around, or watching movies! Here are some of the fun times I captured with my camera!
Andrew trying lacing card for the first time!
He completely the 0 and 8,
then decided to move onto a board game.
A little blurry, but I love this expression!
Really concentrating!
Nana gave Harrison a store/lemonade stand for his birthday.
He had been wanting to have a lemonade stand all summer!
Andrew joined him.
They sold lemonade and cupcakes.
He was hoping to get enough money for some
new toys. He sat there for an hour and made $11.
We took the boys to ToysRUs with their
lemonade money & piggy bank money.
Harrison is all about money right now!
He gets quarters in his piggy for good behavior
and also some money from his lemonade stand.
He wanted to count it all out before our trip to ToysRUs!
I sat down with him and showed him that the
coins look different. I told him to sort them into piles.
He put them in rows! My organized little man!
Playing pirates on their playset.
Carson and I even joined the fun!
Our pirate outfits consisted of a superhero mask,
construction hat, firemen's hat, and walkie talkies!
Harrison made me captain and kept wanting orders.
Here he is saluting me!
Andrew has been potty training.
He was doing really well, but has been lazy lately!
Here he is dancing in the dining room mirror
in his favorite Nemo underwear!
All cozy in jammies, watching Curious George,
winding down for bed.
This is Andrew's new tv watching position!
The boys get so excited to play with Daddy
when he gets home from work!
The boys were watching a movie in my sewing room.
I looked over and found them sharing a chair.
Andrew had put his arm around Harrison! They melt my heart!
Best buddies!
