As a child, every year on Christmas Eve we got to open one present. It was always new, matching pajamas. That way on Christmas morning we looked cute in pictures as we opened presents. This is a tradition I decided to continue with my kids.
This year the boys had matching polar bear jammers (as we like to call them). I didn't get any pictures of them on Christmas Eve or Christmas morning because we hurried off to church. So tonight I decided to have the boys wear them and catch a few quick pictures. They couldn't have turned out any cuter!
I love how Andrew is looking at the camera in this picture,
as if to say "Mama, he's kissing me again!"
Harrison loves his baby brother. He hugs & kisses him, talks & plays with him. He calls him his "Little Pal Pal"
Harrison decided we needed a picture without Andrew's bink.
Too bad I couldn't get Andrew to smile.
Usually Andrew wears sleeper jammies.
I think it is too cute how these hug his little, round belly!
Andrew posed like this on his own! What a cute baby!
This is my Harrison's true personality! What a fun kid!
I was so lucky to capture real Harrison smiles . . .
he usually forces a smile for the camera and they don't turn out nearly as cute.
Hanging out with Aunt Ronda
Harrison loves when Aunt Ronda comes to stay with us for the weekend. Yesterday we drove down to visit Nana & watch Ronda bowl. As we were driving there I told Harrison that we were going to Nana's house, he said "No, visit Ronda!" He enjoyed cheering her on as she bowled. Then we brought her back to our house.
After dinner we played Wii Dance Party 3. Ryan, Ronda, & I took turns dancing while Harrison danced along side us. While Ryan danced a few Ronda snuggled Andrew and fed him a bottle. He even drifted off to sleep in her arms.
She plays, tickles, watches movies, reads books, colors and plays with Play-doh with them. Harrison's cute smile says it all. The boys are so lucky to have her in their life.

Spiderman!
Harrison got a Spiderman costume from Grandma & asked her for a matching costume for his Build-a-Bear for Christmas. He would wear it night and day if we let him. Sometimes we have to take it off him and put it away for a while because he gets too hyper, won't listen to Mommy & Daddy, and jumps off all the furniture.
But you have to admit he is pretty cute matching his bear!

Chuck E. Cheese's
Today was Daddy's last day off of work so we decided to have a day of fun . . . a trip to Chuck E. Cheese's! This was Harrison's first visit and it was so fun watching him take it all in!
He is a bit of a finicky eater so we grabbed chicken nuggets & fries before we went. We got a cup full of tokens and let him run around deciding what to do.
He really only sat still for a picture while on some of the rides, not playing the games, so these are the few we captured
. . . enjoy!
He kept getting in this ride and giving Barney a hug!

Our Little New Year's Eve
This New Year's Eve we had no special plans. We had the boys and no where to go, but we wanted something to do. Ryan & I frequently stay up late, so staying up until midnight is nothing out of the ordinary.
We grabbed some shrimp, chips & white salsa con queso, and cookies . . . our little smorgasbord. We have no cable TV so instead of watching the ball drop we watched old TV shows on Netflix.
Harrison didn't go to bed until after 9:00 and Andrew was fussy so he didn't go to bed until 10:30. After the boys were finally asleep we just watched TV and pigged out.
Maybe next year we will do something other than sit at home, but it was nice.
