Welcome Carson James Barnett

Our Christmas was busy this year with the birth of
CARSON JAMES BARNETT
on December 20th. He was born at 9:27am.
He was 10 lbs. 3 oz. and 21 3/4 inches long.
The doctor was surprised how big he was! His guess was 9 lbs. 9 oz.

Daddy holding him for the first time.

Snuggling in Mommy's arms after his bath.

Look at those chubby cheeks! Don't you just want to kiss them?!

In his outfit we picked out for his trip home from the hospital.

Andrew saying hi for the first time. He was distant at first,
but now he likes to kiss him!

Harrison was so excited when Grandma & Grandpa brought him home.
He ran in the door and asked, "Is Carson here?!" He was so eager to hold him.
I love how it looks like Carson is talking to his big brother.
Life is energetic with 3 little boys at our house,
but we are enjoying every minute of it!
Harrison & Andrew love their new baby brother
and are good helpers.
What a great Christmas present!

Happy Halloween

 Happy Halloween
from Sir Harrison & Andrew the friendly dragon!
In a hurry and ready to get started!
The boys were both excited! Andrew smiled the entire time!
Sir Harrison or "Rescue Boy" as he kept calling himself.
He said he rescues the princess from the tower.
"Cheeeese!"
Harrison was so excited it was hard to keep up with him,
but he always said "Trick-or-treat" and "Thank you!"
Andrew said "Thank you!" to every house in his cute little voice!
Posing for one more picture on Nana & Boppa's front porch
before heading inside to warm up and check out their loot!
Harrison was ready for round 2 at Grandma & Grandpa's!
Armed & ready to go!
Andrew wasn't as excited for round 2...he was getting pretty tired!
Best shot of his wings.
Quick picture on Grandma & Grandpa's front porch.
"Hurry Daddy! It is cold out here!"
"Trick-or-treat!"
"Are we done yet?" Both the boys were done after a few houses.
It was cold & rainy . . . only 39 degrees. And it was getting close to bedtime!

Harrison Sings at Church

During the Primary Program at church today Harrison sang a solo. He sang so wonderfully! He remembered all the words, sang nice and clear into the microphone, looked right at the congregation, and didn't get scared! He had mommy crying even though I had heard him sing it a million times! He sang it again after church back at our house so that we could record it for everyone who couldn't be there to hear him sing . . . enjoy!

Backyard Photoshoot

Yesterday was so bright & sunny I decided it was a good day to take some pictures in the backyard of the boys. Turns out I was fighting that bright sunshine in a lot of my shots, but I still think that a bunch of them turned out great. Plus the boys were looking so cute in their matching outfits!

Andrew was so excited to be outside that I had catch most of his on the move! Harrison, on the other hand, was posing for the camera every chance he could get! Time to replace outdated pictures on our living room wall . . . the boys change so quickly!

(Oh, and you're not seeing double . . . I posted my favorites in both color and black & white for you to enjoy. The colors pop so nice in some of the pictures, but there is something I just love about black & white!)
Harrison loves Andrew! He tells us all the time.
His new phrase is "Andrew is my best friend!"

We often have to remind Harrison not to hug Andrew too tightly.
He is always leading him around the house, holding his hand,
or grabbing him in a tight hug!

My Harrison with a flower he picked just for me!

His natural smile!

I like this one even though his eyes are a bit shaded by his hat.

A true Harrison pose! I love his carefree look!

Chillin' in the grass

One more picture before he was off & running with his brother!

One of my favorites of Andrew
even though it is on the move.
I love the angle & the colors!

Watching his brother.

Andrew kept going up and down the back stairs.
I didn't want pictures on them
because they are nothing special to look at,
but they have a nice rustic quality :)

Look at that happy smile!

Watching a plane go by!
The boys can spot them right away.
Some are jets leaving a streak in the sky,
others are close & loud because
they are ready to land at the airport.

Time for a swing!
