Family Time at the Akron Zoo

The boys and I get to spend 5 days with Daddy! Yesterday we enjoyed Independence Day together. Today we made a trip to the zoo! We have gone with Grandma, but this was our first trip with Daddy. In fact, this was Daddy's first trip to the Akron Zoo since he was little.

We are blessed to have a zoo so close. It is perfect . . . nestled along the hillside, plenty of shade trees, and just the right size for two little boys to enjoy.

Like the penguins do!

Checking out the lemurs
(or monkeys as Harrison calls them)

Saying hi to the llamas.

Harrison was running from one animal to another . . .
Andrew was just taking it all in from his stroller.

Checking out how big condor wings are.

Fun on the rope bridge.

A quick glimpse at the jaguar.

Harrison decided he needed to take a picture of Mommy & Daddy.

A ride on the carousel.

Harrison's animal of choice . . . the kangaroo!

Watching the carousel go around.
This was his face through most of the zoo!
